Admissions

The County Council organises admissions for students who are moving from year six into year seven.

Parents or Carers who are seeking a school place for their child during the academic year, or for students who will be in year 8 or above in September of any academic year, must contact the Local Authority who co-ordinate these admissions.

The phone number for Northamptonshire County Council is now 0300 126 1000 (there will then be an option for choosing School Admissions).

Parents can also email any enquiries to admissions@northamptonshire.gov.uk.

The County Council website also provides options for completing on-line admission forms for both normal and mid-year admissions.

Admissions for years 12 and  13 are organised by the academy and any enquiries should be made via main reception to the Sixth Form Administrator.

Arrangements for Appeals Panels

Parents will have the right of appeal to an Independent Appeal Panel if they are dissatisfied with an admission decision of Lodge Park Academy. The Appeal Panel will be independent of the Academy. The arrangements for Appeals will be in line with the Code of Practice on School Admission Appeals published by the Department for Education. The determination of the Appeal Panel will be made in accordance with the Code of Practice on School Admission Appeals and is binding on all parties. The Academy will prepare guidance for parents about how the appeals process will work and will provide parents with a named contact who can answer any enquiries parents may have about the process.
