Ruth RobertsHead of School
Ruth Roberts
Ruth is the Head of School and has worked with governing bodies in different formats during her time as a senior leader in schools. She was initially a staff representative at her second school and continued this role at subsequent schools until she became a member of leadership. Ruth's key area of interest is safeguarding as this has been her key strategic role for many years. Outside of school Ruth is a runner and takes part in long distance running including marathons as well as off road obstacle courses.

Sue JonesExecutive Principal
Sue Jones
Sue is Executive Principal of King Edward VI, Charles Read and Lodge Park academies. She joined the trust in January 2019.She has been teaching for over 32 years, with music as her specialism. She has been in senior leadership for 15 years. She is passionate about educating the whole child and offering opportunities for all to discover what they enjoy and what they are good at. Sue plays the flute and enjoys keeping fit and county walks.

Tracey MaloneyDRET Appointed Governor (Chair)
Tracey Maloney
Tracey is an Education Consultant, advising schools on improving academic performance across a range of sectors. She began her career teaching English, moving to becoming a Leading Teacher with a brief to exemplify excellent practice, followed by other roles as Head of English and Assistant Headteacher.
Tracey has a keen interest in education research and policy, completing an MA in English in Education at King's College and working as a Senior Lecturer in Education at Canterbury Christ Church University. She also works on the development of curriculum resources for the London Grid for Learning; creating curriculum resources in conjunction with authors, theatres and museums. In addition to writing and delivering grammar courses for teachers across all key stages.
Tracey is part of an eQualitas team, carrying out whole school reviews for leading multi academy trusts and is a tutor at Buckingham University, providing mentoring for graduate teachers following the GTP route into teaching

Jessica CameronParent Governor
Jessica Cameron
Jess was appointed a Parent Governor on 7 June 2023. She has a strong interest and passion for education, including ensuring children and young people receive the best possible outcomes. In her role as a Managing Director of an apprenticeship provider, they are constantly challenged to ensure they are delivering the highest quality training and personal development opportunities to their students and she feels being part of a governance team for a school will allow her to challenge others on areas necessary to allow improvement for both the school and its pupils. Jess has children attending the school so is fully invested to ensure the school delivers high-quality outcomes in all areas, not just for her children but for all the pupils. Jess loves travelling and spending time her family.

Emma Stephens-DunnClerk
Emma Stephens-Dunn
Emma Stephens-Dunn has been clerking academies for DRET since 2013. Emma is Clerk to ASCs for all but one of the academies in the DRET Greater Corby Region, as well as an  independent Clerk for several other schools in Northamptonshire, and Company Secretary for a Peterborough based Multi-Academy Trust. Emma has also served as a governor for fifteen years, in three different schools. Emma is Chair of Governors at one of the schools. She has a broad insight into school governance across all sizes, types and phases of school. She has an excellent understanding of current issues in education as well as best practice in governance. Emma has four children aged between eight and twenty and is therefore keenly aware of the crucial role played by education in shaping young lives. Emma enjoys supporting governors to fulfil their role within this through providing governance advice and guidance and an efficient governance administration service. Emma's interests and hobbies include gardening, singing, fitness, running and walking with her two dogs.

If you are looking to contact a Governor to make a complaint or share a concern, please note that as per our Complaints Policy, governors do not investigate complaints at Stage 1 or Stage 2. This enables them to be impartial should a complaint be escalated to a Stage 3 governor panel.
